5. Malaysia Open

Malaysia Open is among the Super 1000 tournaments part of the BWF World Tour series. The tournament has been played since 1937 every year across various venues in Malaysia.

It was a Super 750 event between 2018 and 2022, but the BWF upgraded it to the Super 1000 level. After its elevation, Malaysia Open now distributes US$1,300,000 among the participants.

4. All England Open Badminton Championships

The All England Open Badminton Championships is one of the prestigious tournaments in the racket sport. It is also the oldest badminton competition, having started in 1899.

The BWF World Tour Finals is the ultimate badminton tournament, offering the highest prize money. It has a total prize pot of US$2,500,000.

The tournament takes place every December, with the top eight players/pairs for the World Tour series qualifying for it.
